I just cant decide...
-
i never been a fan of eyebrows, but with those 2 pics side by side its a tough choice.
think yes keep it.. for a change
-
Unfortunately it blew off my car on the motorway on Monday!!!
I only had it on for a few weeks and hadnt sucured it properly.
-
I've removed mine......but then mine wasn't sprayed up like yours so it was an easier choice..........plus I've changed my grill too:-

doh.. so lost forever?.. get another :)
-
GET A MK3 8V ;D
-
leave it off i think. it looks nicer. maybe get a grill with the red edge ???
-
I think you need to suit it to the style you want to acheive - Rich's looks really nice with the chrome grill and single lights, quite a retro look, but I have got the wind deflectors, twin lights and with the car sitting nice and low, it finishes off the lo'n'wide look off the car.
-
Im going to go for the low n wide look....
-
i think you need to have a big bumper, on both mk1 & mk2's then they look spot on
but they dont look right on small bumper cars imo
plus they look best on white cars i think ;)
-
needs bbs splits too 8)
-
yep...
Isnt the look to have Wide wheels with thinner tyres??
-
i think so, but i'm not so keen on it when its over done..
-
anyone got any pics? or recommend sizes??
-
I had an eyebrow on my old golf, but decided this one looked better without it.
-
:D i had a eyebrow on mine but one day as i was going to work it decided to fly of as i was on the motorway !!!! you think that was a piss take when i look in my rear mirror it was being run over by a lorry with a 40ft container on it !!!! not much left of it now :-\
-
I prefer them without.
-
Think they look OK on mk1s & 2s, but personally think they look silly on mk3s and 4s. :P (never seen em on mk5s so can't comment! ;))
-
when a cars got a debadged grill i think an eyebrow gives it an extra something. when badged i think the grill gives enough of a statement. personally id love to de badge my grill and get an eyebrow spoiler but i got a long list of stuff to do before then, so front end staying as it is for now ;D opps just remebered clear blimkers are kinda high on the list! ;)
-
I think it looks better without.
-
I agree with Gibby-no eyebrow! Love twin lights so keepin mine! ;D
Dinky :-*
-
hmm, think yours looks better with, but as above, comes down the the style youre after. :)
-
dinky's looks better without one, but i still say put one on yours :)
maybe its a colour thing
-
I'd sell it and get a mk3, but then I would say that! ;D

Maybe when i fancy driving an old mans car.
:P :P
-
Mk3 an old mans car?
Don't u mean the mk4??? :P
-
Let's not start that old argument again. It's getting a bit tired. >:(
;)
-
Fair play,
:)
-
still not decided!!!
Ive noticed that alot of Mk1's have a beading around the grille (either chrome or red)..
Mine hasnt got this and i think the eyebrow does suit this grille
However!! i may look into debadged single lights too...
-
i dont like that single lights/debadged look 8)
-
Not really seen any examples of that look.
-
i dont like that single lights/debadged
Yeah baby! ;)
