Title: SWG short shift kit
Post by: dubsport on 09 January 2008, 10:06
Is this worth the money, does anyone have one fitted? how have you found it?

I have a mk3 weighted shift rod fitted will this shortshift kit still fit?

nope far too much money for what it is, get one from missinglinkz instead.  For the same price you can have a complete metal linkage upgrade kit + poly bushes tbh!

is it this one your talknig about?  is it the extension in the arm which makes the throw shorter? do you have one?  and can i also use my existing mk3 weighted shift rod?

at the moment using xe converter it works out as less than £14 posted!

thats the puppy, it can be used with the MK3 shifter.  If it were me I'd get the complete linkage upgrade with the ball ends, in fact thats exactly what I did! Well worth the moneys
