The edition 30 is a celebration of 30 years of the GTI, the way it looks is the way Volkswagen want it to be so I doubt they would make any change to it. The differences are only subtle anyway and IMO it's a bit nicer than the normal GTI's kit but each to their own

Its only the front splitter and lower rear bumper. Sell these and replace them with OEM bits

U wana swap? I gan let you have my normal and youwill let me have your 30ED.

I like the ED30 in Candy white, but I personally dont think the colour coding, the Standard Kit looks better in my own opinion.
Plus the tuning potential for the ED30 for engine remap, but point taken on the standard GTI..

I no what you mean thats the reason i wouldnt buy an ed 30 dont like the colour coding, think the standard gti looks better.each to there own.

I think the colour coding looks good, a light coloured GTI with the black rear bumper just looks like all the lesser models, but not in black of course (which I have!). if you look at any other make of car hardly any have unpainted rear skirts these days.
however I think the red stitching on the interior makes it look cheap.
as for if you can order a ED30 with GTI bodykit, no chance and a waste of time in my opinion, just buy a normal GTI and add some nice extras with all the money you have saved. the extra 30HP is great and a nice luxury, but not that necessary in what is already a great car.
order an RNS 510 touchscreen sat nav, the dogs bollox!

I have a Candy White GTi, think that the black side skirts contrast great but rear valance in black doesn't work well. I feel it looks bland, cheap and doesn't let you see the contour of the rear valance. Wish I could think of a way of keeping the contrasting black side skirts so that they would work with a colour coded rear valance.

Some people have simply painted the lower part of the ED30 rear valance matt black.
