Hey,
What is the rear wiper mod on a mk2?? is it when u put a mk3 wiper arm on to make it sit better o nthe window?
Cheers,

nope..... its where you rearrange the rear wiper arm mechanism so its stationary position is flat rather than across the window.
easiest mod you will ever do on ya mk2! i promise!
check out the mk2 maintenance guide. theres a good step by step guide in there with pretty pictures to help

Ahh right, cool! I guess you just alter the position the wiper blade move lol
Well i'll hopefully be getting a mk2! white one! haha Id like a car thats more of a project as my mk4 is a 1.6 n doesnt have that much poke whereas a 1.6 mk2 id imagine has? being lighter and everything?

after repositioning the mechanism you can use the arm off a mk3 polo coupe (iirc) to make it sit more horizontal

yeah its a post in the garge section of the forum i saw it and within 10 mins i was in the garage and i layed that mutha down!!! easiest and cheapest mod ever! aso its pretty cool looking too! i dont think thers any need for a polo rear wiper arm or a mk3 arm as mine lays pretty flat anyway! if you did want to convert the wiper arm it would be lower than ya grannys tittys!

polo coupe one also has a washer jet on it and is a fair bit longer iirc, best wiper arm is from a fiat punto, nice n smooth
