Title: help with a stupid quest

iv tried every which way but hitting with a hammer,the orig gear knob wont budge on my 1999 v 1.8t,as its the lovely wood effect im wanting to sadly replace it, any help would be muchly appreciated. :nerd:mike

lift the gaiter theres a clip underneath it mate which will be causing you your grief!!  :laugh:

once i get a pic on my dig cam of my ride this weekend ill add a sig mate, if i find out how to add it.
