Title: murky windows

 hi all has anyone had problems with there window runners not cleaning the windows.if i clean the windows with any product once i lower the windows they come back up murky/milky it was in the dealer today who said thats normal and that its not a warrenty issue.any ideas please, also how much would the runners be, ill change them myself if nessasary this is the second time its been in for this problem. cheers

It will just be dirt build up, put the windows down and run a cloth along the runner until its clean. They are a bugger to clean on all cars so may take a few goes until completely clean.

update....got car back from dealer it will be £120 just for the runners + labour +vat :sick: :sick:so took previous posters advice and rammed a butter knife covered polishing cloth down the slot it came out black did a thorough clean both sides then cleaned with ag glass polish now they go up and down and are clean, excellent.
