Title: How much oil?
Post by: Bailey on 31 December 2007, 10:41: Sorry, quick question, Ive got a 99' V GT TDi 110, how much oil does it take? Im getting it fully serviced in the next few days with new cambelt and tensioner too and the oils the only thing im not sure on.

Any help appreciated, thanks. :grin:

Ill be using mobil 1 oil, not sure on the grade, its top notch stuff though. I work for BMW you see and we use it all on of our diesel models when servicing. Mines done 118k now, im having a new cambelt and tensioner, oil and filter, air filter, pollen filter and fuel filter. All genuine parts. Thanks for letting me know mate, much appreciated :smiley:

Ill be using mobil 1 oil,

personally i wouldn't as its not VW approved; best stuff to use is VW's own Quantam brand; think the 110 TDI use 15w 40 :undecided:

the 1.9 TDI will take 4.5-5L of oil
