I recently had a mk5 tdi 105 that had been remapped, I was getting on average about 400 miles per tank and that was with my self thinking right foot  :wink: My ed30 is due soon and it is my first petrol car. I am wondering what mileage I should be expecting out of a tank???? I really think I am going to be living at the shell garage!! :cry:

i get 340 miles to a tank 80% town 20% motorway.

TDI's and GTI's have the same size fuel tank, but that is where the similarity ends. :wink:

Only measured mine a couple of times with brim to brim fills and it worked out at 330 miles a tank. This I must stress included motorway cruising.

If you are a regular town driver, then you will be lucky to see 280 miles (especially if you have a heavy right foot :shocked:)

few threads on here with this  :smiley: , for me 300 ish miles / tank of high octane juice.
Mixed driving , odd thrash. The OBC shows a total (tank) average of 29 MPG last time round for 320miles.

Although I reckon thats heavily weather/season dependent  :laugh: expect less in summer .........

Not quite as bad as i thought then, all my diesel loving friends are takin the pi** out of me, they seem to think ill be getting about 200 miles per tank, idiots!! ill show em :wink:

Also i know it's common sense but check your tyre pressure :shocked: I havent done mine for a few months but they were about .5 bar down on what they should be - to say the MPG shot up is an understatement :shocked: :shocked:

Hope so! My mate who I sold my last car to is thinking of going for an allard conversion which will give him approx 230bhp and lots and lots of torque!! I better get the ed30 remapped quick otherwise he may be making me feel a little sick  :sick:

Last tank I got 200 miles, but there was a good reason for that  :wink:

Otherwise 20-320 miles :smiley:

well im back to getting 27-28mpg town driving  :smiley:
Use to be 23mpg

tend to get 300-340miles out of my tank locally as i dont do any motorway miles
