Title: Headlamp washers faulty

Hi, not had my mk5 long and noticed tonight that the headlamp washers don't seem to be working. Anyone else had a similar problem?

How many times have you pulled the washer lever. The headlight washers only work when the lights are on and then its only every 5th time you pull the lever.

I am wondering if maybe it does not have washers fitted :embarassed:
It's an 05, were they/are they standard? Would it still have the panels on the bumper even if no washers fitted?

If its looks like this then it has washers. Note the split

Arrrrrrr! no split on mine, I guess thats why they don't seem to work!
I'm so stupid!! :embarassed:
Glad I never took it back as faulty! Lol, well at least it would have given the service depatment something to laugh about!
