Title: Exhaust system warning
Post by: Peskarik on 23 December 2007, 22:03
Yesterday exhaust warning lit up again. I had it go off once before and serviceman turned it off in 2 minutes with a computer, and said it was something with the air-fuel mix.
So now it got set again, but then I drove for some time, refueled (V-Power, what else) and it disappeared.  :undecided:

Anybody had this problem.
Maybe cold weather has something to do with it. Did not have any problems in the summer and autumn.

Hi,

My GTI kept doing the same thing. After taking it back to the dealer 3 times they told me that it was the air filter being "sucked down" and effecting the air fuel mix.

Told it was changed for a revised air filter...  no more problems.
