Hi Guys n girls, just picked up my 05 gti on friday, although the front tyres are new they are a budget brand and grip is poor. Can anyone recomend a good replacment? I was thinking goodyear f1's? any ideas please!

Goodyear Eagle F1's are great tyres. So good that i forked out for a set of 4 about 6 weeks ago after recomendations from this forum. Great grip and fairly quiet!

Thanks maxamus , Ive ran GSD3 before on other cars and they were superb.
Im undecided which type to go for after these OE ones wear down tbh
Actually very impressed by the Michelins on the ED30 so they are a contender too

Have run GS-D3s on a number of cars, always great, currently have PS2's and they are superb, but if you get the D3's for 50-60 quid less, I'd go for them, the PS2's are not that much better
