Title: New to this! mk4 gti wheels/suspension help
Post by: eavesy187 on 23 December 2007, 10:38
Hi just got myself a mk4 golf gti and looking to change a few things, mainly wheels and lower it first. Just thinking if i should go for 17's or 18's? And what width? Also how much should i be looking to lower the car for each size? Will be very greatful for any advice as i'm new to this.
Thanks, Eavesy Leeds

i would go for 18's x 8 fills the arches okay and go for a 40mm drop or get coillies and go a lot lower and roll the arches ,seen 19's a mk4 but dont look right

What do you mean by roll the arches? Soory for being a bit thick.
