Title: Anyone in here got an Ed30 with a Turbo Back, Panel filter and Revo?
Post by: djhorace on 20 December 2007, 21:28
Just wondered as I am planning a Revo on mine very soon, and it has a 3" Milltek downpipe and a full cat back system as well as a Carbonio intake. Just wondered if the standard software works ok with these modifications like Revo claim it does.

Sorry pal can't help with your query but I have 1 to ask, I've just got the carbonio intake and filter, how do you rate it, any noticeable improvement. I'm goin away today so won't have chance to fit it till after christmas . It certainly looks the part though

i have 3" downpipe and carb/intake and superchips ecu, supersmooth with superchips ecu, downpipe helps with backpressure and sounds good, carbonio hasnt made any difference what so ever, if you want realworld performance any ecu upgrade and help the turbo out with bigger downpipe, air intake all show no go.

No noticeable improvement. I dont rate it that highly - Its certainly not worth the money they cost as all you get for your money is a panel filter and a piece of shaped carbon fibre, and they dont fit that well either. I am gonna sell mine in the new year I think.

Stan, what make of 3" downpipe to you have, is it coupled with the OEM cat back exhaust or do you have a complete aftermarket system?
I was thinking about the Carbonia as I could have picked one up for £125,,, but to me its pointless as I want go, not just show. As djhorace says, 200 odd quid is a lot for a bit of cf and a panel filter..
