Title: mk1 gti 9 spoke alloy wheeel tyres

hi all

i have recently bought some mk1 gti 9 spoke alloy wheels. they came with 175/70 tyres on them, but will 205/60 tyres fit on these wheels?

any ideas anybody?

Er no in a word, 205 tyres are designed for 71/2 inch wide wheels not 5 1/2 like standard 9 spoke. If they did fit they would look terrible and no doubt give awful handling. Think max you can go is 185.
