Hi well my first tech query !!! Im about to fit this carb to my Mk 1 Jetta 1.6 GL just seeing if anyone here has done this before, i kn ow its not quite a mk 1 golf !! Have already got a new accelerator cable and new gaskets/weber service kit oh yeah plus a new inlet manifold rubber flange. Just a bit miffed reference the rubber coolant hoses that are attached to the inlet manifold on both the l/h and r/h side and if they need to be blanked off or just joined together. The vacuum hoses and there locations make sense to me from what ive researched already ! Have also kept the heater element located in the inlet manifold plus will be keeping the throttle body heater that attatches to the weber alloy adaptor plate. Check out link below !
