Just collected it

Drove it non stop - 185 miles home, felt faster than the GTI I had 6 months ago. I expected it to be (faster) however the stats on paper suggest the r32 is not that much quicker than a GTI – however in the real world the difference is a lot more marked than I thought it would be.

The journey was dark , wet, cold and all on the A1 (with the inevitable dordling outside lane driver) – but with the xenons, dsg and 4 wheel drive – it was fast (very) and safe – infact as fast but a lot safer than the same journey would have been in my 997 s

Unfortunately the car does not have the sexy recaros – does have heated black sports leather – would love a set of the recaros however can’t seem to find any – even on ebay ??

cheers

Great to hear that you've finally got your mitts on your car

4WD is highly recommended in this cold, damp weather
