hi the standard 6 disc dash cd player in golf mk4 does anyone know if the load and eject buttons either side of the 1-6 light up in red aswell as well because mine dont but i think they used to.
on mine the red dots under each cd disc light up but the load and eject dont is this normal or shud they all light up?

ar eu sure i think i remeber mien used to all light up but it just seems odd that the load/eject are not lit up and when u driving at night its a pain to find the button or remeber which is which, anyone know how to fix it?

justa quick query will this fit my golf mk4 hes written out of a golf mk5 on it but it looks so similar to the gold mk4 dash cd palyers, i think i remeber correctly the connector on mine was the green yellow blue block or something like that but this is different

fairly sure as i've just driven home in the dark and all the buttons are lit.
CD changer does look like it will fit

hi just got the cd player noticd on the back it has a funny connector and not the normal green/yellow plug i took a picture pls help how wud i connect this to mine now?

does that plug and harness come apart??

the harness comes off the hook but the plug is all molded as one i think will also the plug has male pins inside it
will i need a adapter of soem kind do u knwo which type i would need coz the mk4 changer has green blue yellwo plug on th eback but the guy i met for this said it came out of him golf mk5 arm rest?

hmmm stick it back on ebay and get your money back lol
sorry mate electronics is not my strong point; not sure if you could make some sort of adapter :undecided: or if you're feeling brave try and wire the wires into the MKIV connector. you need a wiring diagram though to ensure its wired correctly;
