Johnathan, you're not getting much help here eh?

I'm about to dissapoint you too.

I agree though that the standard 'paddles' (bit of a misnomer) are too tiny (more of a poodle really) and that bigger ones would help, however I also noticed that my fingers only have a tiny bit of clearance between the poodles and the wiper/headlight column stalks and unless I was careful then I'd be switching on the rear wiper/headlights/indicators etc, a bigger paddle would interfere even more with this.

Why not fashion something yourself first and tape it on to the existing poodles to make sure it solves your issue.

There is an interesting link on a "how to" in the TT forum. :nerd:

Not really the largest of paddles, but if you have the balls to make some yourself or have some made, then your sorted.

Well found Hurdy.

You've really got to admire the people that go to the lengths they do to change components and help others do the same. I can only imagine the contorsion that this guy was in to take all the behind the wheel pics.

It looks like a good result too.

Have you tried www.vagparts.com?  Probably not listed on their site but if you give them a phone they will sort you out

250 quid a pair is what they want for them....which is mental....

someone is definately missing a trick here...cant beleive no one does a nice after market kit...the standard ones are gash, the r32 ones are a bit better and aluminium, which means to me there is a ready made global market for these things, provided they are done right...

the search continues!!
