Anyone know how to tell the difference between genuine BBS LM and Replicas?  :huh:

The BBS ones have BBS stamped into the metal as seen here. Replica/Fakes do not

Fakes are one piece alloys :sick:. BBS are better built to a higher spec and are stronger :wink:. Also are probably lighter :undecided:

Yes.. I'd never buy fakes, but wanted to know what to look for to make sure I was getting a genuine set if buying second hand.

I've got a set of reps on order from the U.S. They guy said they are one piece and heavier, but not much. He said the finish is excellent but recommended treating them before use to prevent damage from salt etc as the polished area is not the high grade that BBS use so may mark if left unprotected.

I have a set of genuine CH's but just couldn't resist these at the price. My plan is to get the centres done gold like the race wheels and use them as my winter wheels.

I'll update as to the quality when they arrive.

BBS LM'S ARE AMAZING!!!  :drool: mine come soon aswell, everyone wants them now :grin: they should really come standard!!  :evil:

I'll have to bring my Mk1 aswell. Although that won't be on BBS, but it will be slammed on 14x7 Theo Decker Essens  :cool:
