Title: Imports at VW dealers

Been looking to buy a GTI and noticed quite a few imports now being sold by VW franchised dealers.

Makes a bit of a joke of them charging £3k extra for brand new “uk” cars on the pretense that “imports” are not as good, yet they are happy to stock them when it comes to the used market ??

Saying all that very tempted by a 07 2007 with 9k, mega spec dsg etc for £19.9k at Harlow dealer – has anyone seen a private one priced as keenly (other than the one I sold 6 months ago for one grand less – very foolish may I add)

PS what is the premium on the used marker for a e30 v std GTI ??

Premium seems to be holding at around £2k - £2.5k looking at Autotrader.

even for an import with that spec, that is way overpriced. Typical VW dealer.
