Got the dreaded MOT tomorrow, had a precautionary last year for rear axle bushes and brake flexi hoses. Fingers crossed it aint much more, expensive time of year for a man with two kids !! :rolleyes:

No other problems to report !! :smiley:
Rear wheel bearings slightly loose, which he will tighten when doing the bushes.
I think i'm going to book it in for it's next MOT in July, that way no pre-xmas stressing !! :grin:

thats what i did . mine was due on the 19th of december.
screw that! how much fun would that be , trying to fix things within 14 days over christmas.
I did it in October instead. :cool:

I thought the earliest you could do it was 6 weeks before the origonal mot expirey. :smiley:

4 weeks if you want to keep the date on your certificate.
I wanted to move mine away from xmas so just did it early and lost two months mot.

i declared mine sorn, mot was end of november, and i got a steering rack, rear callipers and an engine to fit ill do it in the spring lol maybe :laugh:

You can have an MOT anytime you want to, but obviously it still only last for 12 months from the test date.
