i keep gettingwater leaking in the boot,i have cleaned and greased the seal on the rear lamp ,the boot seal looks good and is seated right.the leak seems to be dripping in behind where the parcel shelf support is ,behind the trim?anybody got any ideas wwhere i should look next?thanks

cars have to be supported for 15 yrs iirc so unless its a very very late run out speck k plate the answer is probaly no

:cool: spent some time the weekend , trying to get rid of the misty windows :wink:
sealed the rear light using some grease ,on the gaskets and re-did the door membranes with B&Q rubble sacks (nice thick plastic bags) as the originals had shrunk, this seems to have worked a treat , thanks again for the info :smiley: :smiley:

mine was leaking through where the middle spoiler bolts goes through the window

mine was mostly the rear doors as the base of the door cards were damp ,
now in the airing cupboard to dry out :grin:

I had probs with the rear golfGTI badge. It was letting water in intermittently, and then realised the water was actually sealing the leak itself when I sprayed a hose over it when the car was standing. When the car moved then the seal broke and water flowed in so took an age to find the flipping leak!
