Title: GTI shunted
Post by: Shrodinger's Cat on 04 December 2007, 17:56

I was rear ended (ooh er missus) on the motor way a couple of weeks ago (M8 east bound around 8.00 am).  Damage is not too bad, bottom valance pierced and coloured rear bumper panel scratched/gouged and popped off the rivet on the O/S.  But I think a seal has also been broken as the boot has started to leak.

So, if you were caught in an 8 mile tail back on the M8 (2-3 hr delay, I believe) around 2 weeks ago, I was at the front of the queue giving my details to the plod.

Take home lesson, keep your distance on the motorway if you've got a nissan almera with p!ss poor brakes, or if you are a dozy f-ck wit.

You mean you were driving slow enough for a Nissan Almera to get up close and personal

Hope he got his just desserts

Did the plod do him for anything?
