i herd somwhere that if you fit a silicone intake pipe you can hear the turbo whistle loader is this true, coz i wanna be able to hear her whistle up :grin: found this one on ebay has any 1 got this on there motor

yea they do, they let more air though, have one on my golf, but dont get a cheap one beacuse when they got hot they bend :( = less air flow!

I have one. Order direct from forge motorsport though, the ones on that site arent made for the AGU engine (i think yours is?).

if you get that one (still assuming you have an AGU) then you'll need a blanking plug for the smaller outlet on the underside and you'll find you'll have to swap your DV into the other socket.. its no major hassle but with your DV moved you wont be able to get your engine cover back on without cutting the corner off it.

ya i have an AGU. mite still buy it as i dont have my engine cover on any more. ill just have to find something to blank off the extra hole and hopfully it want get sucked down into the turbo :grin:

mine is AUM the fitting was very easy .....

yep, they're made specifically for that engine type.. thats what i used on mine because forge weren't making an AGU specific one back then, so i had no choice. they did send me the blanking plug for free though! :grin:
