There about as exclusive as my mums astra!

The guy that owns the company opposite my work just bought 4 (git) as pool cars because he got a proper deal on them.

If they were really LTD editions surely VW wouldnt sell them heavily discounted from dealers?

......anyway, im off to get an application form!!

I dont think they are limiting it to 1500 units in UK, like you say its probably just a marketing ploy  I wish they did get numbered and stuck to their word like they did with the '25th anniversary'. If they aint you are just buying a mk5.1 GTI really.

True I aint got a problem with it, that's why I have ordered one, also where I live there are none about especially in white. However yet to judge how it drives, but from reading threads on the forum sounds good!

In the press releases and the VW memo (that I saw) the cars were "limited" to 1500 units. If there are more in the UK (UK supplied) than that VW have a law suite on their hands.

"If consumers discover that products do not meet these requirements they can reject them and ask for their money back. Alternatively, they can request a repair or replacement or claim compensation." Sale of goods act, I think thats covered under the description.

Other wise its a great car

Well if everyone did actually take the time to register their ED30's then maybe we would find out if there are more than 1,500 :undecided:

it is a good idea in theory. In practice it is much harder to get everyone to register, or even to know about the register.
