i have been trying to install the bentley mk2 cd for ages now but when i click on setup it doesnt do anything, so if i right click and go run as it comes up with this message:
'16 bit windows subsystem
c:\documents and settings\ed and nick\local settings\temp.
a temporary file needed for initialization could not be created or could not be written to. Make sure the path exists and disk space is available.'
The path does exist and space is available, i checked the event log and it said that it was a driver problem.
any computer guys got any ideas?

What version of Windows have you got? XP or 2000?
I don't know that CD but it sounds like it could be a compatibility problem with Windows.
If you're running Windows XP, you could try using Compatibility mode to make the programme think that it's a different version of Windows.
Right click on the setup file, click properties, then click on one of the tabs, then Click on the Compatibility option, try the Windows 98 option and also disable visual options and themes in the same place.
(I think that's right, but I've not got an XP computer in front of me to try it on).
