im 22 6 points and no ncb hic will quote me online for a 1.8 mk2 driver at just over a grand with limited millage but when i put 8v gti in they wont quote me it seems i cant get quoted for anything over group 12. any ideas why? people say its not that much more to insure an 8v gti over the 1.8 driver? would it be possible to keep the quote refrence from a 1.8 driver quote and ring them and ask them to quote me on a gti using thoose details or if they dont quote you online will they not quote me on the phone either?

give Martin B a ring tomorrow mate. He has said in a previous thread that their website doen't have access to all the policies that they have; i'm sure he'll be able to sort you out :afro:

We have access to loads of different schemes/underwriters most of which will not currently quote on our website (they are currently building a new one) and based on the limited info you have given i would expect us to be able to do you a deal.
If you pm me your surname/postcode so i can loads the online quotes you have stored and a contact number then i will check it out for you.

i think you should just f*ck that online quote system off your website completely until the new one is ready, go throw something sharp and heavy at your webmaster!

I actually agree, although there are still quite a few people who take the insurance up off our website i wonder how many it puts off.......?
Also i ran through a quote on it the other day for a mate at his house on his laptop and its a right mission to use even for me but its not up to me unfortunately! :sad:

I think the online quotations will soon be removed from our website temporarily while thay try and make it compatible with all our schemes, as far as i know while it is being sorted it will be replaced with a form for you to fill in online that gives us all the information we need to run through a quote so that we can just print them all off and run them through our system in the office.

This has now been done, you cannot at the moment get an online quote from us anymore, instead you fill in all your details and they get forwarded to one of our sales teams to contact you with a quote.

hi martin just tryed the new online quote system and i get an error screen come up after i fill in what car it is. anyone else having this problem also how will i be contacted with a quote and how soon im busy at work day time isit possible to have email only? thanks

We were not aware of any problems but then it only went live yesterday so it would not surprise me if there were some teething problems with it, pm me your surname/postcode and i will see if the quote details saved so i can have a look at it for you.
