Title: bigger turbo in my golf?
Post by: MaXXeH on 25 November 2007, 08:42
i have a 2000 AUG 1.8T 66k on the clock,  i was thinking about putting a bigger turbo on the old girl, is it worth it with this many miles on the clock? what is needed?

with only 66K on the clock i wouldn't bother at this stage; turbo is good for at least another 90K, maybe more depending on how you treat it.

i'd look to upgrade your pipe work, N75 valve, DV valve, suspension, brakes etc.  then by the time you're ready for a new turbo your car is pretty much sorted for it
