Title: wing mirror smoking!!!!

hi there.

             ive just noticed that my drivers side wing mirror had smoke coming out from behind the glass. (very odd me thinks) :huh: has any1 got a clue what this is? my mate (richw911) thinks it might be damp just being burnt off

Are you sure it wasn't just steam?  I presume you have heated mirrors which come on with the rear window demister.  If you're sure it wasn't steam then pop the glass out and have a look and see.

as said above; sounds like you've got heated mirrors and its just the water burning off
