Title: Missing vehicle data sticker in service log book of import car
Post by: orca on 23 November 2007, 23:00
I've had my import GTI for a couple of weeks now and have got a Dutch service log book and an English one.  Both have been stamped and dated by the Dutch dealer but neither has a vehicle data sticker inside it.  The data sticker in the boot is there but there isn't one in the service log book.

Do I need a data sticker in the log book for any warranty work or is the one in the boot sufficient?

Will I need it in the log book if I want to sell the car on?

If I do need one then how easy or hard is it to get a replacement sticker?

I bought the car through cars4charities.

Cheers.
