rite i just been out in my car its a little slippery out there lol anyway i pulled away from a jct and got a little rite foot happy it started to spin passenger but as it did there was a bit of a orrible knockin any ideas
-
Sounds like the traction control kicking in. Did the TC indicator flash up on the dashboard (Little exclamation mark in a circular arrow, orange light, in the speedo)?
-
not that i noticed m8 i was lookin for it to but if i hadnt let off it would have carried on if that makes sense it was in a straight line too not goin round a corner
-
Its your dog bone mount. It's probably okay, the knocking only really happens when you're caught off-guard and spin the wheels. You can buy an uprated one though.

you can get uprated ones from places like EIP tuning but most people buy Powerflex dog bone bushes and replace the OEM bushes.
try www.forgemotorsport.co.uk
alternatively i think the R32 dog done mount is uprated so you could buy that:
Part number is 1J0 199 851 AM, and price is about £63 with the VAT I think; i've got the bushes to try out but will only be swapping out the smaller of the two

initially yes but they do bed in after a few hundred miles. You're more prone to vibration in TDI's hence why I've put off fitting mine :undecided:
