clocks came yesterday, but it was dark by 4 so i had a go at fitting the rev counter this morning. took out the mileage and put it in the clock with the rev counter, put the dash back in and im pretty cuffed with them :D

What you should have done is swap your original speedo section with the new one, retaining your original mileage.
I made a hybrid of a 16v 160mph speedo and an 8v rev counter, so i know it can be done. :smiley:

thats what i did :smiley: the milage on the other clocks is about 125k

Looks nice mate. Was it hard to wire it up? Did you need to bodge any connections to get the rev counter working?
Offtopic: did you have to get an adapter for your head unit?

no need to cut any wires or anything like that mate, unplug the back of the VDO and the pin at the bottom and switch them over, the hardest part is getting the VDO clip out because of the lack of space :)
The head unit im not to sure about as i got fitted at the place i bought it :smiley:

Am i missing something ? It looks like two different cars ??? One has manual choke, the other not ??? :undecided:

Same car, the first pic was taken last summer, since then the Carb died and i bought a manual webber carb ;)

Fooking hell, you have done some milage, nearly 20k in a year an a bit.
