is the passenger door the same?

i take it the open / lock button on the finger plate does nothing either.

the only thing i can think of at the moment is to take a Stanley knife to the door card and pull the door pin up.  this should allow you to open the door and then remove the door card properly and then replace / fix the lock module.

obviously this is quite a drastic solution and will mean you'll have to replace your door card.

unfortunately this is the only way i can see of getting your door open.

the passenger door will lock and unlock same with drivers door but there's no pin that goes up and down i have managed 2 prise the door card off the top and bend the metal plate back enough 2 get my fingers in and the bit that the pin goes onto goes up and down but door still wont open. does anyone know of a way 2 get the lock out without damaging the door or the card????

does it just not open at all or does it open if you pull the door towards you? I had that problem on mine before
