Ive been told that my AGU is the best 1.8T to handle big power. Somthing to do with the head?? Anyone know more about this?
-
They come with a bigger head and stonger internals that the AUM lumps so they are best for big power, ie: KO4 turbo's or Garrett's.
The AUM's have got a sports turbo (better than that on a AGU) and the vvt-i which make it a bit quicker in its factory form and you get about 20 odd brake extra on remaps!
-
Ideal thanks for that. What is the best upgrade turbo to go for?
-
well if you want up to 250 then get a standard vw KO3s, if you want up to 400bhp then I would go with a garraett, KO4's are good too, but tbh I have heard better things about the garretts ;)

Magic very interesting :smug: Your mk4 looks sweet BTW ashmond what sort of power you running at?
-
240 i see it now
