Title: another gearbox question..

My mate has a mk2 1.3cl with a 4 speed box and wants to change it to a 5 speed.

what can he replace it with as i think his is on the way out aswel.

I think a mk2 polo 1.3 5 speed box will fit on it, check that one out.

Yeah, good option...........you won't be able to use a GTI gearbox or similar as they are totally different.
