Hi,
Still waiting for my new edition 30 with DSG to arrive (6-8 weeks hopefully), but one thing I forgot to ask before...
Normal auto boxes in drive mode pull slightly when you're stationary (i.e. you need to keep your foot on the brake to stop going forwards).
Is this the same for the DSG box, or do you have to press the accelerator to get it to move forwards?
Just wondered...

Yes it does pull in drive. Which coming from a manual I have to constantly remind myself before I smack into the car in front
-
Like my dads Pajero with tiptronic. Im constantly forgetting that taking your foot off the accelerator does not work
-
hahha. all porsches do this asell, infact the only auto cars i have driven without this happening are ferraris
-
Thanks!

....The 'pull' on the DSG is very minimal and easy to manage without problems. The pull was much more on my BMW automatic.

BMW auto is a god send when in slow traffic tho.

in my passat now, it has auto hold feature which puts the breaks on regardless of incline!!!, which from coming from the GTi with the same DSG,im surprised they havent put this feature in all new models.
