Title: very loud windscreen creak....

now the weather has turned, i'm getting a loud clon/creak when the wipers are on sensor, or i just turn them on once to clear screen...

it comes from the nearside corner and happens when the wiper gets back to the bottom....

sometimes, it creaks/clonks without the wiper moving, but this is rare...

doesnt creak or clonk at all when wipers are on properly or not at all...

any ideas? i find dealing with my dealer a hardship.....so thought id get the lowdown from you lot first..

Wipers on the MKV have a homing feature. When you turn them on once or they are on intermittent wipe (auto sensing) they lower down out of the way. It may be something to do with this feature as when the wipers are on all the time they do not home on the down stroke. If there is a fault with the homing position then this maybe the source of the creak :undecided:
