Title: i want to fit 17's but pls help
Post by: kuk sool on 15 March 2004, 15:17
hi guys been looking at some cross spoke bk alloys at my local carnoiseur in cambs! the guy saw my mk2 16v and how low it was and said all i need to do is cut the inner arch mouldings on the front to get them to fit as the Bk's are a 17x7 so would only really affect the front not the back is this true!

and does anyone have a detailed document on how to cut the front inner arches to allow these wheels to fit!

thanks
Scott

ACE alloys do a cross spoke type design in 16x7 fit would that be better than a 17x7 alloy! or would they scrape the arches just as much
