Got the Blue beast back on Saturday, went to use it yesterday, put key in ignition "click".......nothing. Not a dickie bird......I thinkthe battery has had it!

think its time for a optima yellow top battery.
anyone got websites on these and how much will one cost me. i really want that extra cranking power

does it make a very faint clickin noise if so give the starter motor a bat with summat thats what i did n my car starts ok now

the starter motor bit was replaced on mine but im a fussy person. :P

those yellow batteries are a bout 200 squids. if you find somewhere selling them holla this way as I'm after one too.

Speedy if it makes a clicking noise,try ur connections to ur battery n alternator cos my b/fs car is actin up at the mo n i think its just a loose connection cos his battery is brand new! :-\ His havin to do all the usual checks! :-\ Stupid ford! >:(

yep, it just clicks. doesnt even turn over :(

Check and clean the earth to your gearbox and the 'big' permenant live cable that goes directly from your battery to the starter.
The clicking means your solenoid and pre-engage is working but the fact that it isn't turning means there is no cranking power, which is seperately supplied and hence check those aforementioned cables and connections.
