Where can i go and get one from....

No such thing I'm afraid chap as the Kjet system won't allow one to be fitted.

Get yourself a K&N panel filter for the air box and the dril lsome holes in the air box on the lower caseing that is against the wing. WIll give you the same noise as an induction kit, look more subtle and will actually increase power (a tiny bit, maybe). Induction kits as a rule are all show and no go unless you buy the massively expensive BMC CDA type.

Is the Kjet electronic? or is that the Digifant? :laugh:

I have the electronic one with a big plastic air box over the drivers side wheel arcg in the engine bay...

Digifant is the electronic fitted from early 88. Easiest way to tell is if there are braided fuel lines running from the airbox (5 I think). If there are it's a KJet if not it's a Digi.

Either way unless you want to spend £150 induction kits just aren't worth the money and the panel filter and drilling will yeild the best results.

THe link below is for the BMC Induction kit. If you really have to have one, this is the one to get as it does actually increase performance.

Agreed  :smiley:  I had an induction filter on my old 8v Digi and it lost a bit of power. Unless you make a heat shield for it then thats all good, otherwise a panel filter is the way to go.

MK2 K-jet still has electronic ignition guys ;)

Digifant has electronic fuel injection, where the k-jet is mechanical.  As said there arn't any induction kits to fit a k-jet apart from a very expensive one which replaces the lower half of the airbox, but its a total waste of money.  GTI airboxes actually flow very well, most you'll want to do is fit a k&n pannel filter to the std airbox, and remove the noise restricting 'trumpet' thats fitted to the front of the lower airbox half to give you a bit of induction roar :cool:
