Title: Drilling air fillter box on Driver 1.6 carb

i Want to drill my air box to get the nice induction sound but i am unsure where to drill?
It would be great if some one could post pics of where they have drilled theres!!  :smiley:

Any holes drilled might lead to 'carb icing' at this time of the year mate and make your Golf stall...... i might be wrong though?

well i dont know myself about the stalling maybe true but what ever you do dont drill above the filter otherwise itll be useless and not clean the air lol  :rolleyes:

just drill along the front of the filter box, not too much or it'll fall apart :grin: as long as you leave the back half alone you'll be ok.

Just be aware that if anything your car will be slower, as it'll be sucking in lovely hot air from the engine bay ;)
