Title: Is this to cheap to be true? I hope not!!

just looking for a new insurance quote as i was bored and work, and came across this site -
Performance Direct -

I've just turned 25yo, have 2 years no claims (thanks to having to claim on a stolen car :cry:), and looking to insure a 1990 8v GTi 5 door

Fully comp the quote came out to Ã‚£226.72 - i was paying over Ã‚£400 last year with 5 years no claims?

Has anyone dealt with this company before, is it too good to be true?

Im assuming that was an online quote though? I would ring up and check as a lot of companies will often ask just the bare minimum details to get you a quote and then ask for the extra information when you try to take out the policy, often resulting in more premium or charges!

I have the quote saved and is valid for a month - so if it's any where near that i could be very tempted to give them a go.

I was expecting quotes in and around the Ã‚£500 mark
