My FK Kit seems to be delayed and I need a kit by tuesday.
What are these Boge Kits like from GSF?
-
boge shockers are top quality and used by eibach for suspension development....I have used boge extreme shockers and eibachs and the ride is good..the kits at gsf use boge gas (similar to o.e gas struts i believe?) and for the price are excellent
-
how low will you be going with them though as i think they can only handle a certain drop
-
I have recently put these on my gti recently and they are quite good. The ride is firm, but the handling is good.
Quite good for the price.

40mm will be the max (like most shockers) unless they have shorterned piston rods for lower!

Wanted a 60/40 split, hence ordering the FK kit. Think the Boges are 40 all round, which is ok...... prob have to do, need them for tuesday!!!
-
i think you might be disapointed with a 40mm drop, i know i was, sorry to piss on your bonfire, but if you really can wait i would and get the 60/40 kit
have a look on vwvortex in the mk3 section at the 60/40 cup kit thread, you can see how much better it sits in there

i had a 40mm boge kit from GSf fitted on a 96 polo was good and price was descent
please do post pics when you have kit fitted :)
-
Well hopefully the 60/40 FK Kit will arrive on time. This is the split I really wanted. Will post pics when all is done (one way or another).

Woooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww..............
Got the wifes car back today. The FK kit 60/40 split arrived just in time to be fitted. What a difference. I agree, the 60/40 split really levels the car out and it looks kinda bad ass at the front.
Told her to watch the kerbs though (prob won't listen)!!
Will try and post some pics soon, ie when I've cleaned it. Cheers for everyones advice.
