I've decieded to change my rad fan for a pacet one for a number of reasons. The connector onto the old fan has 3 wires (i'm assuming for 2 speeds). Is there any way to wire up my new fan so it'll kick in at lower and higher temps????? Cheers

just fit it so it kicks in at the lower temp, if the high temp circuit kicks in the fan will already be spinning ;)

How do you get the fan to kick in earlyer, I think mine only works once, it comes in pretty late as the temp gets over the 3 1/4 dot, then kicks in, its never overheated tho and never flashed at me to warn me !! Where as my VR6 I had before this never ever moved from the center of the temp gauge, no matter how long your in traffic for or hammering it !!

thats normally when the fan should kick in :)

cheers dude, just wanted to check i'm doing it the right way. Kicks in at the half way point on the gauge so that'll do for me. Looks kinda sexy instead if that horrible big vw thing

sounds like the low speed was shafted on your old fan if it now cuts in at a lower temp :)
