Title: Locked keys in
Post by: Philpy on 06 November 2007, 14:26
My missus left the keys in the golf and the damm clifford its got locks after a little while.
Anyone wanna PM me some ideas of how to get in? Its got armour plates around the handle and also the plates inside the door to stop a coat hanger... Oh and the door pins have been removed and replaced with cliffords LED's

Don't fancy your chances much to be honest! :undecided: Might be quicker to pick up a rear side window from the scrapper and insert brick? putting the new one back in can be a little tricky if it's the first time you do it.

But hang on and see if anyone knows another way, any clifford techs around??

best of luck

No spare then? If you're with the AA etc they come out and break in for you, normally with no damage to your car.

the old hammer and new window jobby, locked my keys int eh boot of my old focus... pop a window, preferebly the front passenger side one, no seal to replace and piss easy to install a new one.

just be prepared to vacume all teh glass out. neat trick is to cover all the glass thats visable with ducktape, makes a huge difference. not as much glass everywhere!

just go get a new window before you do!

Wasnt prepared to smash a window, never had to with any other car.
managed to pull the rear side window out of the rubber and climbed in dukes of hazzard style!
Reason I dont have a spare is it was delocked when we got it and the central locking would sometimes play up so I put handles from her old 1300 on it and she only had the 1 key!
