Title: Droning Wheels
Post by: giorgio1712 on 05 November 2007, 20:41
When Im between 0-20mph and mostly when coming to a stop I get a droning noise coming from the wheels, like a dull groan. At first it was just the exhaust but don't think it is as it changes as the wheels go round, like the sound of a frisbee say in films like changing as it rotates if you get me. Any idea what this may be?

Cheers

Possibly wheelbearing needs changing

Could also be down to mishapen and poor tyres

Sounds like a frisbee in a film??... Sounds more like a wheel bearing to me, does it get louder when turning corners?

You know like the sound of something rotating in the air.  lol  It changes volume as the wheels rotate, probably wheel bearings then.

Get them done mate. £5 each side and it will stop you messing around.
