Title: What wheels?
Post by: giorgio1712 on 04 November 2007, 16:16
I've been trawling the internet for ages looking for a set of wheels and just can' make my mind up. I did really want some BBS from Justmatz but then found out there about £1300. I can't get any BBS from Egay as I can't pick them up as I live in Guernsey. Any one got any ideas/pictures for inspiration, mines a small bumper 1989 gti 8v in Oak Green if that helps at all.

I was considering new wheels, but have decided to stick with the factory fitted RA's.  Perhaps you could have yours reconditioned?  Alternatively, how about either of these two, which I consider to be very nice on the Mk2:

Ronal LS (cheap BBS):

I really like the look of the Ronal's, this will probably sound stupid but could I just put BBS centers on them? I could tell my mates they're bbs!

You would be living a lie!      BBS centres prob won't fit anyway. Be proud of the ronals!

PS... There really cheap on dubmeister.co.uk

And if you do lower it, you can fit 9" RS's on the back and 8.5's on the front!!

What are "RS's" and how is this possible?

I might just go with the Ronals.

Please remove yourself from this site!

BBS RS, quite possibly the best wheel in the world, and easily made wider, and wider..............

Do a google search for them.
