Title: golf mk4 dash into mk2, gonna go one step further
Post by: dub fatha on 03 November 2007, 12:06
hi there

i was recently going to fit a polo dash into my mk2 golf, but have decided to go one step further and fit a mk4 golf dash instead,

has anyone done one of these before?

would appreciate any help or advise with mounting the dash, and the wiring side of things,

thanks

im sure someone out there has done this conversion before,

from what i can see, i will need to cut around 1 1/2" from the back edge so that the side's of the mk4 dash meet up nicely with the a pillars in my mk2 golf, and maybe trim 10mm off each edge so that the dash does not have to be forced in,

but would like to confirm this before i start chopping, as i only have one dash to play with.

if anyone can confirm the above please let me know,

thanks
