Title: Hello and Help!

This is my first thread so i'd like to say start by saying hello to everyone :grin:

Anyway onto more important things. I have a Petrol 25th Anniversary golf that im about to fit an induction kit to. I have been recommended a BMC CDA induction kit but dont know much about them and have never fitted an induction kit before. I have looked on the net and found the airbox part that comes with the flexible hose etc for around Ã‚£185. Is this all I need to fit it?Is the air filter built inside it?

Post by: Jonnys07 on 02 November 2007, 16:26: want to get it remapped but insurance wont allow. have to wait till next summer :cry:. Can put induction kit on but havin sum trouble, maybe get it lowered 2?any1 else have suggestions?wanna keep it visually standard (except lowered)

Unless you want some of that induction roar, I'd save your money, pal. I had a BMC on once upon a time. Loved the sound - Made the engine sound more like a V6!! Can't say i noticed any gains in power, though. When the weather was hot, there were definate losses, IMO.
