Title: VR6 power question???
Post by: Tom_16v on 30 October 2007, 19:37
Is it true that the later Golf vr6's have more power.   The early ones have 174bhp, what do the late models have?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I could not find anything.

I'm only aware that the Corrado VR6's were 190bhp and Golf VR6's 176bhp.

The vr6 owners club has proven that there is no differance between OBD1 & 2 on verious rolling road days. Ive driven both obd 1 and 2 as my brother had a later vr at the same time as me and i could not really tell any differance...
